Welcome. My name is Kristján.
Originating from Iceland but lives in Gothenburg, on the west coast of the nordic country Sweden.
I work with communication in the IT field. On my spare time I try to escape the logic and dedicate myself to creative hobbies such as photography.
This blog is an alternate to my flickr site (check it out here). I also have a more “serious” site (check that out here).
I use a Canon Eos 7D with a 15-85mm, 50mm (f1.8), 18-55 mm, 70-300mm and a BG-E7. Mix that with some Nissin, Panasonic and Opteka flashes and you have my gear. I also have a Canon Eos 450D with 17-85mm and a BG-E5 as a backup body. I am an amateur looking to learn and trying out new techniques and ways to think, which explains the very different types of photos on this site. If you have any constructive criticism for me please comment on the photos.
